James Bean, Vice President of Investment Sales at SVN (Rich Investment Real Estate Partners), brings nearly 25 years of experience to the table. He has become a specialist in investment brokerage and National 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges.

James’ journey began in 2000 in Arizona, where his previous role as a site acquisition specialist for a dry cleaning operation, overseeing the opening of over 75 plants in the southwest, sparked his interest in commercial real estate.

Over the next 15 years, James played a pivotal role on a team that successfully grew an industrial portfolio from 1.5 million square feet to nearly 6 million square feet. He personally completed over 1500 lease and sales transactions, totaling more than $1 billion.

In 2015, James returned to his hometown of Ventura, California, to focus on retail investment sales and 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges. Leveraging his extensive national network and the power of SVN, James successfully closes transactions across all 50 states.

Beyond his brokerage expertise, James Bean is a published author, writer, and sought-after speaker on commercial real estate and sales strategies. He actively engages with ROTARY International and serves on a local charter school board.
